Our Mission:

First Street Arts Center promotes East Texas artists whose work ideally captures the Pineywoods experience. Through the Center, area artists, writers, poets, and musicians share their talents with the community in a newly-revitalized downtown Lufkin, Texas. The First Street Arts Center was founded by the Pineywoods Cultural Association, a non-profit organization, to promote East Texas culture and encourage an appreciation of all the arts. We hope you will visit us in our historic downtown home and see for yourself all that Lufkin has to offer.
